We obtain information through three channels:

Information you provide: name, contact information, date of birth, address, driver's license number, vehicle information, property information, health information (for life policies), business information (for commercial policies), and payment information.

Information from third parties: credit-based insurance scores, motor vehicle records, claims history (CLUE reports), and property reports obtained with your consent.

Information collected automatically: standard web analytics (IP address, browser type, pages visited) when you visit our website.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Prepare insurance quotes and place coverage with Farmers
  • Service your policies — renewals, changes, and claims
  • Communicate with you about your coverage and our services
  • Provide the complimentary risk and contract review we offer commercial clients
  • Comply with Utah insurance laws and regulations
  • Improve our website and services

Who we share information with

We share information with:

  • Farmers Insurance Exchange and affiliated carriers receiving your quote or policy
  • Service providers who help us operate, contractually bound to protect your information
  • Regulatory authorities when legally required

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Text messaging & mobile information privacy

GEE Family Insurance may collect your name, mobile telephone number, email address, mailing address, policy information, quote information, driver/vehicle/property/business information, and other information you provide to us in connection with insurance quotes, applications, policy service, renewals, claims assistance, billing questions, coverage reviews, and related insurance agency services.

We use this information to:

  • provide insurance quotes and coverage options;
  • process insurance applications, policy changes, renewals, cancellations, endorsements, and claims-related requests;
  • communicate with you about your insurance policies, billing, documents, appointments, service requests, and coverage questions;
  • market insurance products and services that may be relevant to you, where permitted by law and with any required consent;
  • maintain records, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, prevent fraud, and operate our agency.

We may share information with insurance carriers, managing general agencies, wholesalers, claims administrators, service providers, software vendors, payment processors, regulators, auditors, legal advisors, and other parties as reasonably necessary to quote, place, service, administer, or manage insurance products and agency operations.

No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party.

By providing your mobile number and consenting to receive text messages, you agree that GEE Family Insurance may send you text messages related to insurance quotes, policy service, applications, renewals, billing reminders, document requests, appointment reminders, coverage reviews, claims assistance, customer service, and promotional or marketing messages where permitted and consented to.
